Skills Somerset is a skills and careers event for 14-19 year olds. The November 2009 event was a great success and one of the biggest event of its kind in the county. The event informed and inspired young people with hands on features, activities and demonstrations offering a real insight into a host of different careers, whatever their ability or ambition. Who Will Visit

The event aims to attract 3,500 visitors over the two days.

Days 1 and 2 between 10am – 3pm will be aimed primarily at organised and pre-booked visitors with the majority visiting with a school, college or other groups. All schools and colleges within Somerset will be invited to attend.

The evening opening is aimed at all adults including parents, carers and families.
