Skills Somerset is a skills and careers event for 14-19 year olds. The November 2009 event was a great success and one of the biggest event of its kind in the county. The event informed and inspired young people with hands on features, activities and demonstrations offering a real insight into a host of different careers, whatever their ability or ambition. Skills Somerset will take place at the new Junction 24 venue, Regional Rural Business Centre, Market Way, North Petherton, Somerset TA6 6DF. As the name suggests it is located just off the M5 motorway at junction 24.
