Skills Somerset is a skills and careers event for 14-19 year olds. The November 2009 event was a great success and one of the biggest event of its kind in the county. The event informed and inspired young people with hands on features, activities and demonstrations offering a real insight into a host of different careers, whatever their ability or ambition. Skills Somerset bucks the trend of your traditional careers fairs - sitting behind your table guarded by your pop up stand or brochures is not permitted. Interactivity is vital and we produce events with a real hands on focus.
